Chelsea are reportedly already planning to send their 23-year-old player out on loan when the next transfer window comes around in the New Year.
Like always, Chelsea made the most of the loan market in the summer to get several of their youngsters smart transfers to help their development.
Blues-owned talents such as Andrey Santos (Strasbourg), Alfie Gilchrist (Sheffield United) and Gabriel Slonina (Barnsley) have all started well at their new temporary clubs.
Remarkably, WhoScored data records that Santos is the highest rated central midfielder in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

Chelsea could loan out Mykhailo Mudryk
According to journalist Simon Phillips via Substack, Chelsea are planning to send Mykhailo Mudryk out on loan in the January transfer window.
It is explained that the ‘expectation’ is the 23-year-old winger will join a new club in January, likely on loan.
Phillips adds that Mudryk’s new agents are aiming to get the Ukraine international more minutes to help him get his career back on track because it’s stalled since a move to Stamford Bridge 18 months ago.
Mudryk’s transfer to Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk is a deal worth up to £89m (BBC), which looks like a terrible transfer at this moment in time. Unfortunately, the fast left-winger has only scored seven goals and made five assists in 62 Blues appearances.
What next for Mykhailo Mudryk?
As mentioned above, Mudryk could end up leaving Chelsea to go and play regularly. He’s actually played in four of the Blues’ opening five matches across all competitions, but is yet to really set the world alight so far.
During a recent interview with The Guardian, Georgiy Sudakov insisted that Mudryk is an “incredible” player still. In fact, the Shakhtar Donetsk man said the Chelsea winger could end up winning the Ballon d’Or prize one day.
Based on what Mudryk’s done so far in Chelsea colours, he’s a million miles off being the world’s best player because there’s simply no consistency in his game.
Everyone should take a breathe on Mudryk and see how he performs in these next few months before deciding his next step in the New Year.
