Chelsea looked as if their transfer deadline had gotten off to pretty much the worst start imaginable after they appeared to miss out on two of their top targets.
Victor Osimhen reportedly agreed to a contract to make the move to Saudi Arabia, with it becoming apparent that the Blues had been unable to get a deal done on their terms.
It was claimed a few days ago that Ivan Toney had emerged as a top target too, however he has agreed to a move to move to the same club in Al-Ahli.

There has now been fresh doubt that these deals could both be done today, with there actually being an issue with the amount of foreign players they can sign.
Sky Sports presenter Pete Graves said: “This is interesting news! Senior sources in Saudi Arabia are telling us that they can’t see both Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney signing for Al-Ahli. They don’t have two slots available for two foreign players.
“This has been an issue we have seen. Unless they can remove another foreign player from their squad they can’t sign both.
His co-presenter added: “We are also told they can’t sign two strikers and they don’t have the budget for both players, so Chelsea fans hearing that might think we might still get an Osimhen or Ivan Toney.”
It remains to be seen if either become available in the final few hours of the window again, with it seeming as if they were not planning to bring both players in.
There is also the chance that the Saudi Arabian side could part ways with one of their foreign players, with one of these being former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
A striker still feels high on the agenda for the Blues today, with them recently being linked to a deadline day move for Jhon Duran if they miss out on their top targets.
