It looks as if Chelsea are going to end deadline day missing out on signing who many perceived to be their top target.
Victor Osimhen has agreed on terms to make the move to Saudi Arabia, meaning he will be on his way out of European football.
Chelsea were pushing to get a deal done on their terms to bring in the Napoli man, however it seems as if it just hasn’t been able to be reached.
With there now being just hours until the transfer window slams shut, it looks as if Chelsea have been sent back to the drawing board in a bit of a rush to get something done.
They have been linked with a move to sign Jhon Duran from early in this summer transfer window, however it seemed they had gone off the idea of signing the Aston Villa man.

Chelsea could turn to Jhon Duran after missing out on Victor Osimhen
Despite the fact he is still playing the number two role for the Premier League side going into the new season, there have been no real reports recently that he could be leaving them before they start their Champions League campaign.
Sky Sports have now stated that Duran is firmly on their list of targets now they have seemingly missed out on the opportunity to bring Osimhen in.
Chelsea think Duran is perfect for them
It has been claimed that Chelsea still believe Duran is perfect for the project they are currently undergoing.
Any striker coming in at the moment would be competing for minutes with Nicolas Jackson, who got his Premier League account open at the weekend against Wolves.
Duran would certainly bring a different skillset to the position than Jackson does, with them actually complimenting each other quite nicely.
Another name they have been linked to is Ivan Toney, although he also looks set for a move to Saudi Arabia on deadline day.
