Chelsea are expected to complete a number of deals in the summer transfer window that will transform how their attack looks for next season.
A new striker is expected to come in and provide serious competition for Nicolas Jackson, with Liam Delap and Victor Osimhen being mentioned as targets of the club.
There is likely going to be a new winger arriving at Stamford Bridge too, with the current options not setting the world alight this season.
One of the biggest disappointments has been Jadon Sancho, with there currently no guarantees that the loanee will see his move made official. Chelsea can pay a small fee to opt out of activating the obligation to buy him.
A number of names have been linked with a move to West London, although many are likely to put a huge dent in the club’s transfer budget, which until they have Champions League football to work with remains unclear.

Chelsea target Jamie Gittens asks to leave Borussia Dortmund
One of the players Chelsea are very interested in is Jamie Gittens, who has enjoyed a breakout campaign at Borussia Dortmund.

Despite his goalscoring tailing off in 2025, there are plenty of big fans of the winger. Former manager Nuri Sahin described Gittens as ‘unbelievable’.
However, the price that his club have quoted in the past is high. It has been claimed Dortmund are holding out for £83m for Gittens if he was to leave this summer.
This stance could be about to soften though, with the player making a decision on his future which could force the Bundesliga side’s hand.
Journalist Patrick Berger has stated that Gittens has asked to leave Dortmund this summer, and could be available for a lower fee than what has previously been quoted.

He said: “Jamie Gittens (20/) would like to leave BVB in the summer and take the next step. Bor. Dortmund has been informed of the transfer request and internally expects a departure.
“However, due to the weak second half of the season, they have long since backed away from the original desired transfer fee. The amount also depends on which European competition (or none at all?!) BVB ends up in. Gittens still has a market in England. A return to the PL appeals to him.”
Chelsea’s potential swap deal for Gittens
The Blues have not been shy to be creative when it comes to working out ways to sign players that works out better for them.
One avenue they could explore for Gittens is launching a swap deal, with there being a couple of players they can offer in exchange.
Carney Chukwuemeka recently starred for Dortmund as he continues to feature on loan there, however they will struggle to afford to sign him outright.
Dortmund also have admiration for Sancho still, and his underwhelming Premier League career could set up a move back to Germany.
Both players could provide ways of droppig Gittens’ price tag, as well as parting ways with a player who many don’t see in Chelsea’s long-term plans.
