Chelsea have made it their aim in recent transfer windows to beat a number of their elite rivals to the signing of top young players around the world.

There is already plenty of excitement surrounding the future of the club, with them set to add Kendry Paez and Estevao Willian to their ranks this summer.

Graeme Bailey has stated that Chelsea think they’ve hit the jackpot with Paez and Estevao, and are both set to be with the first team squad from the next campaign.

It was reported today that the Blues have offered another trial to Dastan Satpaev, described as Kazakhstan’s most promising talent.

Chelsea looking to sign Sousa

It looks as if they are not stoping when it comes to bringing in younger players, and they are now looking to bring in a new left-back in the form of Jose Victor de Sousa.

Known simply as ‘Sousa’, the Brazilian is already on the radar of his national team, who have already called up Estevao to their ranks.

According to AS, Chelsea and Barcelona are keen to secure the services of the 18-year-old either in January or at the end of the season.

The report goes on to say that Chelsea would be planning to complete the deal with a loan to Strasbourg in mind, a club that are currently helping the Blues with the development of a number of their players.

Who do Chelsea have on loan at Strasbourg?

Andrey Santos has been named in the U21 Team of the Season for his performances so far, and is the clear shining light of a young, promising side in Ligue 1.

Djordje Petrovic will no doubt still have ambitions of becoming the number one at Stamford Bridge, and is putting in a string of impressive displays this season at Strasbourg.

Robert Sanchez currently has the backing of a number of key figures at Chelsea, however supporters have not been convinced by his performances this season.
