Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca will ring the changes as Chelsea get their European campaign underway tomorrow night.

The Blues take on Gent in the Conference League group stages, with plenty of players on the cusp of the starting 11 set to get their chance to impress.

It is already known that Cole Palmer, Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia will take no part after not being selected in the squad as of yet.

Here’s The Chelsea Chronicle’s predicted side to take on Gent tomorrow night at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea predicted Conference League XI

Robert Sanchez did little to impress against his former side at the weekend, opening the door for Filip Jorgensen to impress tomorrow night.

With Malo Gusto only recently back from injury, Maresca will hand 18-year-old Josh Acheampong his first start for the club at right-back.

Tosin Adarabioyo has been knocking on the door for more Premier League starts, and will come into the side in place of the usual back two.

He will be joined by Benoit Badiashile, who is rapidly losing ground to Levi Colwill in the race for the left centre-back role.

In place of Marc Cucurella, Renato Veiga will start off the left. Ben Chilwell is another who is not in the squad at all.

In midfield, Kieran Dewsbury-Hall will start again, as he looks to continue the fight to become more of a regular in the middle of the park.

He will be joined by Moises Caicedo, who has a case alongside Palmer as their most important player right now.

On the right, Pedro Neto will look to prove he should soon be handed a start in the Premier League.

The opposite wing will be occupied by Mykhailo Mudryk, who it feels is playing for his future at the club right now.

Behind the striker, Joao Felix will start. He is yet to begin a game in the Premier League as of yet.

Up front, Christopher Nkunku will look at add to his very impressive start to the season in front of goal.
