All the talk in recent days has been about if Chelsea will make one more big-name signing for their first team squad this summer.
A new striker has seemed top of the agenda for Chelsea to cap off their transfer window, with Victor Osimhen being named as the top target for the role.
Reports yesterday stated that Chelsea had made their first offer to Osimhen over personal terms, with the hope being that he would bring down his wage demands to a level that would suit them.

This is always going to be hard to convince a player to do when they are attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, with Osimhen a top target for Al-Ahli.
It looks as if Chelsea may well have been given an indication over where he is more likely to be playing his football next season, with it not being too positive on their front.
Chelsea looking at other players rather than Osimhen
Journalist Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that the Blues are beginning to prioritise other targets after getting the impression he could be on his way to Saudi Arabia.
He said to Sky Sports News: “Chelsea are now looking at alternative targets to fill the striker position as Al-Ahli are understood to be feeling more hopeful of securing a deal for Victor Osimhen.“
It always seemed as if the deal would have to be done on Chelsea’s terms if they were going to sign the Napoli man this summer.
Romelu Lukaku set for Napoli
This is even with Romelu Lukaku set to head the other way, with the Belgian’s nightmare at Stamford Bridge seeming to finally be brought to a permanent end.
It remains to be seen who the Blues look to sign instead this summer, with Ivan Toney recently mentioned as another player they are targeting.
The England international also has a big-money offer from Saudi Arabia though, although it is unclear if Premier League interest can turn his head late on.
