There was talk of Quenda potentially joining Chelsea in January, however they deemed it more important for his development to continue to play for Sporting Lisbon for the rest of the campaign.

In what turned out to be an 11-0 win, Quenda saved the best until last with a sensational strike from distance to score the final goal of the rout.
It is not a rarity for the 18-year-old to find the net from range, with his long-distance shooting something that has been proven to be a real positive.
Quenda is off the mark in the Champions League this season already, scoring against Kairat Almaty, who have fellow future Chelsea star Dastan Satpaev in their ranks.
Enzo Maresca facing a Quenda dilemma
Quenda has established himself as a key player for Sporting, with him starring on the right of attack for both club and country.
This is the position where Estevao has played the majority of his minutes since moving to Stamford Bridge, and Enzo Maresca could have a dilemma when it comes to fitting both wonderkids in his side upon Quenda’s arrival.
There has been talk of Estevao playing centrally for Chelsea at some stage of his career, however any move there in the coming years will see him clash with Cole Palmer.
It is certainly a good problem for the boss to have, although there will be pressure on the Italian to find a way to keep all of their top young stars happy.
