Estevao equals Neymar’s goals and assists record

His rise to the top of the game in Brazil brings a lot of comparisons to Neymar when he was coming through before his big move to Barcelona.

A statistic from ‘Ginga Bunito Hub’ shares that the comparisons are warranted. The two are on the same amount of combined goals and assists from their seasons at 17 years of age.

Chelsea excited for Estevao to join

Those at Chelsea are reportedly very excited about the prospect of Estevao joining them next summer.

His agent has claimed that the Blues are considering playing him in the Number 10 role, although he will be up against some of the club’s better players for minutes if that is the case.

Cole Palmer looks at home now Enzo Maresca has shifted him to the central role, and Christopher Nkunku is also pushing for minutes after his match-winning cameo against Bournemouth at the weekend.

Joining Estevao in the summer will be Kendry Paez, who is another youngster who has made his impact at the senior level.

He has become a regular for the Ecuador national team, where he is regularly among their best performers alongside Moises Caicedo.
