Cole Palmer has been outstanding in his first two seasons as a Chelsea player, and that’s equated to him being very popular on the Fantasy Premier League game.
The decision from Chelsea to sign Cole Palmer, 23, from Manchester City two years ago has been a masterstroke.
Darren Bent recently hailed Palmer as the best attacking midfielder in the Premier League. Now that Man City great Kevin De Bruyne has left the division, the Chelsea talisman may be ready to take up that crown.
Unsurprisingly, Palmer is one of the most expensive players on the Fantasy Premier League game, with individuals rewarded heavily for goals and assists.
| Player | Club | Price |
| Mohamed Salah | Liverpool | £14.5m |
| Erling Haaland | Manchester City | £14m |
| Cole Palmer | Chelsea | £10.5m |
| Alexander Isak | Newcastle United | £10.5m |
| Bukayo Saka | Arsenal | £10m |

Cole Palmer tells people if they should pick him in Fantasy Premier League game
During a conversation with the Fantasy Premier League via X, Chelsea star Palmer delivered a hilarious response regarding whether fans should select him in this year’s game.
The interviewer asked: “Do you reckon everyone should have you in their team?”
Palmer responded: “If they want points.”
Afterwards, the interviewer said: “Guaranteed goals, everything like that?”
Palmer replied: “We’ll see won’t we…”
Robert Sanchez praised Chelsea teammate Palmer as the world’s best in the summer. At the very least, we rate him as one of the Premier League’s elite stars, something he will be looking to prove in the new season.
Jody Morris expects Palmer to reach another level by performing on the Champions League stage.
However, the England international will be largely judged by what he does on a consistent basis in the league. It’s where Chelsea will need him if they want to land another top-four finish and possibly make an outside bid for the title.

The bar Cole Palmer has set in the Premier League
Palmer has taken the Premier League by storm in the last two seasons, emerging as the chief Chelsea attacker who’s impossible to pin down.
| Season | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| 2024/25 | 37 | 15 | 9 |
| 2023/24 | 34 | 22 | 11 |
In his first year at Stamford Bridge, he was a major goal threat as a right-winger in Mauricio Pochettino’s system. Last season, his attacking numbers slightly dipped as a No.10 for Enzo Maresca’s side.
The reality is that Palmer suffered a considerable drop in 2025, which is understandable for the 23-year-old talent with so much pressure on his shoulders. However, fans witnessed him return to his peak with two outstanding performances in the finals of both the Club World Cup and Conference League, so write him off at your peril.
