Chris Sutton has made his match prediction ahead of Chelsea against Manchester City this weekend.
Chelsea will host rivals Man City on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, the final game before another international break.
The Blues have been dealing with a fair bit of criticism after a slow start to the campaign, with Mauricio Pochettino adapting in the manager’s dugout during his first few months in charge. However, Chelsea currently sit 10th in the league and are only three points adrift of Brighton in 7th.

Sutton’s prediction
BBC pundit Chris Sutton states in his pre-match prediction that Chelsea will be beaten at home to Man City.
If the Blues do lose on Sunday, it’ll be seven consecutive defeats against this opponent.
“Chelsea’s Nicholas Jackson scored possibly the worst Premier League hat-trick there has been last time out against Spurs, but it is still a hat-trick and it might boost his confidence a bit,” Sutton told BBC Sport.
“The same could be said about the impact of that win on the rest of the Chelsea team too. It doesn’t matter how they did it, they won when not many people gave them much of a chance.
“This result really depends on how City play, though, rather than what Chelsea try to do. Pep Guardiola’s side have a few injuries to contend with but it doesn’t really make much difference who comes in or out of their team. Their squad is just so strong.
“Guardiola also has a nice problem in terms of who to pick on the left, Jeremy Doku or Jack Grealish. You never know with Pep – because Doku has been playing so well, he will probably leave him out for the next six games.
“Whoever plays, City are just relentless. They will win by two goals, it’s only really a question of whether Chelsea will score or not.
“Sutton’s prediction: 0-2.”
Chelsea vs Manchester City
Chelsea will certainly start as underdogs to get something versus Man City in a couple of days time, but they’ve already proven they can compete with the league’s best this season.
We think that the Blues should have gained maximum points in the draws with Arsenal and Liverpool. In addition, it was a 4-1 away victory at Tottenham earlier this week.
We’ve seen Chelsea score a lot more goals in the last month and carve through team, but you suspect they’ll need to be a lot more clinical this weekend. Man City have a league-best record of only eight goals conceded in 11 games this season.
