Craig Burley has predicted the result ahead of Chelsea’s game against Crystal Palace later today.
The Blues host Palace tonight at Stamford Bridge in a Premier League fixture.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side may have reached a Carabao Cup semi-final this season, but they’re massively underachieving in the league campaign. As it stands, Chelsea sit 11th with only six wins from 18 matches.
Meanwhile, Roy Hodgson’s Palace side are winless in their previous seven games and are being sucked into a relegation battle.

ESPN pundit Craig Burley has predicted Chelsea to narrowly beat Palace this evening.
Burley told ESPN: “Palace are going to sit in for sure 100 per cent. I really don’t know. I’ll go for a narrow Chelsea win.”
Meanwhile, Frank Leboeuf said in the same video that Chelsea will beat Palace 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have beaten Palace in the previous 12 consecutive meetings across all competitions, this includes 11 league games. Therefore, they should go into tonight’s home match with some kind of confidence.
The Blues have been abysmal on the road in recent times, losing four on the spin in away games. However, there’s been a lot more success at Stamford Bridge.
Pochettino’s team are unbeaten at home since October against Brentford, so let’s hope the fans get a positive result in midweek to lift the mood.
It feels like any hope of getting back into the race for the European positions is over, but we really don’t want to be stuck in the position where there’s nothing on the line in the second half of the season.
