One of the most positive stories of Chelsea’s season so far has been the fact that a player who missed all of last season through injury seems to have recovered well.
Wesley Fofana didn’t play a minute of competitive football during the Mauricio Pochettino era at Stamford Bridge, however he has started both Premier League games so far this season.
He has featured alongside Levi Colwill, with the duo showing signs of a very promising backline forming.

They have actually come in for criticism from Frank Leboeuf, however it is something off the pitch that appeared to frustrate some fans earlier this week.
A video emerged of the Frenchman seeming to avoid meeting supporters after the recent 6-2 win against Wolves, and instead take a phone call and move on.
Fofana clarifies ignoring Chelsea fans incident
Fofana took to Twitter to clarify what actually happened, saying that he actually did meet and greet those who were waiting for their favourite players.
He said: “Hahaha people are crazy I got a call and then I went to put my bag in the bus after that I go take pictures with the fans.”
Supporter discontent is certainly something that Enzo Maresca will be looking to avoid as he gets his job at Stamford Bridge underway.
Maresca was frustrated with the home fans on the opening day of the season, with them voicing their discontent for slow build-up play that is very much a part of his system.
It makes comments from Moises Caicedo a little more interesting from over the summer, where he said at times he preferred playing away from home than at Stamford Bridge.
There will no doubt be an aim to get home fans on board, which comes with positive results. After the dominant win at Wolves, the hope will be there will be optimism in West London for their next Premier League game on Sunday.
