There’s several Chelsea players that have made significant impacts for their respective nations during the November international break.
Many Chelsea players have been impressing on the international stage in the last week. Meanwhile, Blues head coach Enzo Maresca has been back at Cobham with a depleted group.
Thankfully, Jadon Sancho has been pictured back in Chelsea training after missing games recently due to a combination of illness and injury.
Chelsea’s next game is a trip to Leicester City this Saturday afternoon for a Premier League clash.

Darren Bent praises Noni Madueke impact with England
Overall, it’s been a really positive international break for Chelsea’s Noni Madueke. The right-winger made back-to-back starts for England in Nations League victories over Greece and Republic of Ireland, earning his fourth and fifth senior cap in the process.
Jude Bellingham praised Chelsea’s Madueke after his latest England performance, where the 22-year-old attacker showed what he can bring to the Three Lions side.
TalkSPORT pundit Darren Bent believes Madueke has put down a marker with his two performances in the last few days.
Bent told talkSPORT: “I think the [England] squad is thicker than maybe we anticipated. When I say thicker, I’m talking about depth. For instance, it was always [Bukayo] Saka. You’ve got [Jarrod] Bowen. Now you’ve got Madueke all of a sudden. Talk about somebody taking their opportunity. He’s played well.”
Noni Madueke needed this lift
Despite the fact Madueke has been a key starter in Chelsea’s side this season, he needed the lift with England to pick up his confidence. He’s not scored or assisted in the last four consecutive league matches, so let’s hope he returns this weekend in a confident mood.
Madueke admits his Chelsea form has been up and down recently, but he maintains full belief in his own ability.
| Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Premier League | 10 | 4 | 0 |
| Conference League qualifiers | 2 | 1 | 0 |
| Carabao Cup | 1 | 0 | 0 |
| Conference League | 0 | 0 | 0 |
There’s little room to drop off this season for Chelsea’s wingers right now because the competition for places is so tough. Along with Madueke, the Blues can choose from Mykhailo Mudryk, Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho in the wide areas.
The form books would suggest that Neto should be the first winger in Chelsea’s best XI right now, so who else will join him on Saturday versus Leicester?
