Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher could be a perfect fit at rival Tottenham.
That is according to Sky Sports pundit Darren Ambrose.
Conor Gallagher, who’s a product of Chelsea’s academy, has emerged as a key first-team player for the Blues this season.
Therefore, we suspect plenty of supporters are frustrated by transfer rumours tipping the 23-year-old midfielder for a possible exit away from Stamford Bridge.
The Sun recently claimed that Tottenham will have to cough up £50m to sign the Chelsea star.
Meanwhile, London World has said that Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino wants Gallagher at the spine of the team he’s trying to build.

Darren Ambrose is stunned by rumours that mention Gallagher possibly exiting Chelsea. Journalist Ben Jacobs reported via X recently that Chelsea will consider offers between £45-50m for Gallagher.
Ambrose has stated that interested buyers Spurs would actually be a great match for the Blues star.
He told Sky Sports News: “I’m surprised that Chelsea would let him (Gallagher) go given the current circumstance they find themselves in.
“He fits Spurs, 100 per cent… When he was at Crystal Palace he played a role further forward… Not only that he works extremely hard. He’s on the front foot and that’s what I’ve seen from Spurs this season.”
“I think he would definitely fit the bill for Tottenham.”
Conor Gallagher would fit Tottenham
First of all, we’ll stress our belief that Gallagher must be kept by Chelsea. Let’s hope all parties can agree to extend a deal that is due to expire in 2025.
However, we can explore the upsetting idea of the box-to-box midfielder moving across London to a big rival.
We agree that the relentless energy of Gallagher is tailor-made for an Ange Postecoglou side, so he would be a major hit in Spurs colours.
His performances at Chelsea have led to a regular spot in Gareth Southgate’s England squad just ahead of Euro 2024.
