Journalist Ben Jacobs has now shared what Chelsea want to do with manager Mauricio Pochettino before the end of the season.
He took to Twitter to state that the club are fully focused on a strong end to the season, and for this to occur under the current boss.
The pressure is firmly on as far as Pochettino is concerned at the moment, with supporters remaining frustrated by the fact that they are in the bottom half of the table.
They were also unsuccessful against Liverpool in the League Cup final at Wembley, failing to bring in the first trophy of the new era in West London.
While many have questioned the ambition of the club under the new ownership, Jacobs has hinted that it remains the measuring stick as far as Pochettino is concerned for this season.
He said: “Chelsea are totally focused on a strong FA Cup run and finish to the season with a desire to make it work with Mauricio Pochettino.
“Chelsea are not currently engaging with Ruben Amorim or Roberto De Zerbi. Natural respect for both, but neither actively pursued as it stands.”

The Blues are currently in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup following Conor Gallagher’s last-minute winner against Leeds United last week.
They will face Championship leaders Leicester City later this month as they look to book a return to Wembley later this season.
As far as potential new managers go at Stamford Bridge, it is the names of Amorim and De Zerbi who are frequently mentioned.
The latter may be somewhat exciting to a large portion of the fanbase after his comments surrounding Mykhailo Mudryk resurfaced.
He has previously said that he believes the Ukraine international has the talent and potential to win the Ballon d’Or at some stage in his career.
