Chelsea are obviously a club with a lot of great and valuable assets.
For example, the likes of Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo, who cost Chelsea a lot of money over the summer.
However, for Diego Simeone, the person he would like to see join Atletico Madrid one day is actually the Blues’ manager Mauricio Pochettino. The 53-year-old was recently asked who he would like to see replace him at the Spanish giants in an interview with Cadena SER.
He also mentioned Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti, who is currently managing Atletico’s city rivals Real Madrid.
Diego Simeone rates Mauricio Pochettino
Simeone would not mind seeing Pochettino at the Civitas Metropolitano one day.
Discussing who he would like to see replace him at Atletico in the future, the Argentine told Cadena SER: “One of the best, Klopp, Ancelotti, Pochettino… They are the coaches that I would like to be at Atletico.”

Chelsea need to keep hold of Mauricio Pochettino
It would be such a setback if Chelsea were to lose Pochettino or rushed into sacking him.
In the Blues’ last two games, he really has proven that he is a top coach. His side recently went toe-to-toe with Manchester City.
To score four goals against Pep Guardiola’s men and get a point is quite impressive. Some may not see it that way because they conceded four goals themselves and it was only a draw in the end, but it still shows progress and Pochettino’s coaching ability.
Would Graham Potter or Frank Lampard have been able to take City on in the manner that Pochettino’s Chelsea did? You only have to look at last season to know that the answer is no.
And while beating a nine-man Tottenham Hotspur team does not sound amazing, Pochettino still deserves credit for how he set up his side. And let us not forget, Chelsea were absolutely dominated in that fixture in the previous campaign and lost 2-0.
