Enzo Maresca has hinted that one of Chelsea’s new signings is likely to start for the Blues on Tuesday.
Chelsea take on Barrow in the third round of the Carabao Cup on the back of their 3-0 win against West Ham United.
Barrow’s visit to Stamford Bridge will give Enzo Maresca the chance to make several changes.
And the Chelsea manager has already hinted that one summer arrival has a good chance of making the first XI.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall set to start against Barrow
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea from Leicester City in a £30m deal over the summer.
The midfielder is yet to start a match in the Premier League, but he could be about to get some game time in the Carabao Cup.
When asked whether Dewsbury-Hall will start against Barrow in his pre-match press conference, Maresca said: “Probably [he will start]. We have a session today. I like to tell the players [before you]. I’m very happy with him.”
Dewsbury-Hall’s introduction to the team could see Moises Caicedo rested. The 22-year-old was excellent in Chelsea’s win against West Ham, helping his team bring all three points back to west London.
“Moi has been fantastic,” Maresca said when discussing Caicedo’s performance at the London Stadium.
Chelsea fans could start questioning Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall transfer soon
While it is still early days, Dewsbury-Hall has not made much of an impact at Chelsea since his arrival from Leicester.
Conor Gallagher, on the other hand, is excelling at Atletico Madrid right now. The 24-year-old has already scored two goals for the Spanish club, grabbing their equaliser against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
Given that Gallagher and Dewsbury-Hall are quite similar midfielders and the former is a Chelsea academy product who cost the club nothing, supporters are going to start questioning the acquisition of the latter if they are not already.
Again, though, Dewsbury-Hall has only just arrived at Chelsea and has missed one game because of illness. Dewsbury-Hall needs way more time before a verdict is delivered on him, but Gallagher’s good start at Atletico has put the spotlight on the former Leicester man a bit.
