Enzo Maresca has not been shy to make some big decisions since coming in as the new Chelsea manager.
The Italian has made it clear to a number of players that they are not part of his plans for this season at least, and they would be best off finding their minutes elsewhere.
This occured notably with Raheem Sterling, who found a deadline day move away from Stamford Bridge to Arsenal.
The same cannot be said for Ben Chilwell, whose future is in doubt after being left out of the Conference League squad.
Another player who was expected to be on the move was Carney Chukwuemeka, however he has also remained in West London.

Maresca hints at Carney Chukwuemeka return to Chelsea first team
With a move away off the table for this window at least, it looks as if there could be a u-turn on the cards for the midfielder.
Maresca said in his pre-match press conference that he is a massive fan of the youngster, and now has the chance to use him in his plans.
He said to Football London: “I really, really like Carney. But we have so many attacking midfielders. Unfortunately, we didn’t find any solutions [in the summer]. Now we can use him.”
Chukwuemeka has not been seen in the Premier League so far this season, however the midfield position is one that has been affected by injuries and fitness woes.
Midfield injuries for Chelsea
Romeo Lavia is still a doubt after his injury in the early part of this season, however the boss also hinted that it wouldn’t be long until he is back.
Both Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo were not seen in training yesterday, with there just hours to go until the next match against Bournemouth.
The plans for the Ecuador international would perhaps have been to feature at right-back anyway, after it became apparent that they would have no first team options in that position fit for the upcoming fixture.
