Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has delivered a glowing verdict on Mauricio Pochettino after just a couple of months working under him.

We’re still waiting for results on the pitch to really turn in our favour, but it definitely feels like there’s a lot of positive noises coming out of the camp already.
Robert Sanchez, who’s currently the first-choice keeper, is really impressed so far by Pochettino. In particular, he’s noticed the Chelsea boss is particularly strong when it comes to his 1v1 man-management.
“I also had a couple of chats with the manager, I know what kind of manager he is,” Sanchez told Sky Sports.
“He knows when to tell you that you need to do better, when to give you a hug, put his arm around you. He’s a great manager tactically, but especially managing players, he gets to know each player individually and everyone’s different, and he gets the best out of us.”
Pochettino’s management style is the one thing all his past and present players wax lyrical about.
Blues winger Noni Madueke has recently been raving about Pochettino’s management approach, as quoted by Chelsea’s official website.
It definitely feels like club made the right appointment in the summer when they welcomed the Argentine to the manager’s dugout. This is a relatively inexperienced group that will need an arm around it at times and steering in the right direction.
Let’s hope Chelsea’s results post-international break take a steep incline and they start to obtain the points some of their recent performances have deserved.
