Chelsea have some very good passers in their team, namely Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez and Levi Colwill.
In fact, Lucy Ward recently lauded Levi Colwill for his passing after watching the defender in Chelsea‘s 3-0 win against West Ham United.
Another Chelsea player has now come in for praise for his passing following the Blues’ 4-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.
Palmer scored four goals on the day — all of them coming in the first half — but his passing did not go under the radar.

Steve Nicol praises Cole Palmer’s passing
Palmer has been a goal machine for Chelsea since joining them from Manchester City last year.
In 53 appearances for the Blues, the attacking midfielder has already netted 31 times.
However, Palmer has also proven to be an efficient playmaker at Stamford Bridge, with Steve Nicol claiming that he does not waste possession.
Discussing the 22-year-old on ESPN, the Liverpool legend said: “Doesn’t waste any pass, he doesn’t waste anything. Everything he does is spot on. Now whether [Nicolas] Jackson or anybody else takes advantage of it is a different thing, but he very rarely makes any mistakes.”
Cole Palmer more than a goalscorer
Again, Palmer is often the one who creates goals at Chelsea. He doesn’t just score them.
He has already recorded four assists in the Premier League this season, with three of those coming in the same match.
According to WhoScored, the England international is making 2.8 key passes per game, which is the highest average in Enzo Maresca‘s squad.
All in all, Palmer really is the complete attacker; he can do everything. The former City player can score goals, create them, pass and dribble past defenders.
“You can’t stop him in one-against-one situations,” Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler said after his side’s loss to Chelsea.
Chelsea signed Palmer for £45m and he is earning £130,000 a week, according to Spotrac. He is going to go down as one of the greatest deals in Premier League history.
Chelsea’s aim this season will be to qualify for the Champions League. With Palmer in their side, they have a great chance of doing that.
