Estevao Willian is one player Chelsea fans will hope to see in the Blues’ Champions League tie against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
Estevao has made a positive impact at the club since arriving from Palmeiras in the summer.
However, the winger was absent for Chelsea‘s 2-2 draw with Brentford last weekend.
John Obi Mikel recently praised Estevao, describing the 18-year-old as a “proper player”. He should be full of confidence right now after managing to score his first goal for Brazil over the international break.

Estevao Willian trains
Enzo Maresca should give a full update in his pre-match press conference for the Bayern game, but Estevao looks to be in contention to play in the Champions League tie.
On Monday, the Brazilian posted a couple of pictures of himself in training on his Instagram story, which will delight Chelsea supporters.
Despite still being so young and having just arrived in the Premier League, Estevao managed to play a huge role in Chelsea’s 5-1 victory over West Ham United last month.
The Brazilian international set up Enzo Fernandez after a terrific bit of wing play down the right.
If Estevao is available for the Bayern fixture, he could start in the same position, while Pedro Neto is moved over to the left.
Following Estevao’s success, the Blues could return to the South American market for more talent. It was recently reported that Chelsea have an interest in Deinner Ordonez.

Why Estevao Willian missed Brentford draw
Chelsea fans would have been worried when they saw Estevao’s name missing from the matchday squad for the Brentford game. However, there was nothing to be concerned about.
Before kick-off, Maresca confirmed that Estevao was ill and it was nothing more than that.
He now seems to have recovered from his illness and should be ready for Chelsea’s Champions League opener, which could be a very tricky fixture for the former Palmeiras star and his teammates.
