While the summer transfer window is closed for English sides to do any more business, Chelsea have still been pursuing opportunities to move on some of their frozen out players.
The Blues managed to move on a number of those who were not in Enzo Maresca’s plans for the ongoing season.
Trevoh Chalobah and Raheem Sterling both got deadline day moves to other Premier League sides, while Chelsea added Jadon Sancho to their ranks in the process.
They have still been pushing hard for an exit for Ben Chilwell, after not including him in their squad for the Conference League group stages this season.
Another player they have looked for a home for is David Datro Fofana, following his loan spell at Burnley last season.

Chelsea agree loan of David Datro Fofana
Despite their relegation, he seemed to impress manager at the time Vincent Kompany, who described him as ‘very fast’.
Fabrizio Romano has stated that he seems to have found a way out, with a deal now agreed for him to join AEK Athens.
He said: “David Datro Fofana leaves Chelsea to join AEK Athens on loan deal, agreement reached.
“It also includes a buy option clause for £20m not mandatory, up to AEK in June 2025 to decide about it. Fofana has accepted, paperwork time now.”
Chelsea pushed to sign Victor Osimhen
Chelsea made strides to strengthen the striker position this summer, with them honing in on Victor Osimhen.
Despite making efforts all the way up until the final hours of the transfer window, the Blues decided not to bring him in.
They have therefore decided to put their faith in Nicolas Jackson for the coming months at least, with him off to a strong start in the Premier League.
However, it has already been claimed that they could try and sign Osimhen again when the transfer window opens again in January.
