Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that he has actually been impressed by what he’s seen from Nicolas Jackson so far this season.
He told the Evening Standard that he has no doubts that the player will come good after he is given time to adapt to the Premier League.
On paper, Jackson’s start to life at Stamford Bridge has been very ordinary.

The new signing has just one goal since joining the club, despite starting all four league games.
He was the centre of attention late in the day during a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
After being found by Sterling a few yards out, Jackson wildly blazed an effort over that looked harder to miss.
While this was no doubt frustrating for Pochettino, he still believes the narrative is going to shift about the Senegal international soon.
He said: “I think in the future we will be talking differently. He needs time to adapt to the Premier League. He is doing a fantastic job but scoring is not easy.

“He is a little bit rushed in his decisions. He needs to be a little bit more calm and relaxed and for sure he is going to score goals.
“Yes, we have to prove we can score. Of course, we need to be more clinical in front of goal and not to do the mistake we did today, to give the chance to Nottingham.”
With Armando Broja closing in on a return from injury, there may finally soon be some competition for places up front for Chelsea.
