Reports have claimed that Frank Lampard has already had his say regarding who Chelsea should make their new club captain in the future.
According to the Mail Online, the former manager has already recommended Enzo Fernandez as someone who can lead the side in the future.
Fernandez made an immediate impact after he joined the club, even if it came during a particular Premier League low point in their history.

They languished in 12th in the league, with them now going into next season without any form of European football to look forward to.
It really does feel like a new era at Stamford Bridge, with Mauricio Pochettino now in his second week as manager of the club.
A number of first team players have also left the club, as they have looked to cut down what was an extremely bloated squad.
Lampard recommends Fernandez as captain
One of those has been Cesar Azpilicueta, whose time as the longest serving player of the club has come to an end as he made the move to Atletico Madrid.
His departure has left a decision to be made regarding the new captain at the club, with the likes of himself, Jorginho and N’golo Kante all moving on in recent months.
It has now been claimed that Lampard has made it clear that he believes that Fernandez is a candidate the club should look at when making their decision.

The obvious choice for next season would be Thiago Silva, who by far has the most experience in the squad at the top level.
However, there will likely be a consideration to Reece James, despite him being just 22 as well as Fernandez.
Perhaps a year as vice-captain under Silva could be perfect as they look to find their next long-term skipper.
