Gabby Agbonlahor has spotted something very interesting when watching Chelsea this season.
Apparently, Blues midfielders Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicdeo are both starting to get visibly annoyed with some teammates on the pitch.
It’s certainly a frustrating time at Stamford Bridge right now for the supporters, whose side are yet again struggling to find any consistency.
Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has helped his team reach a Carabao Cup quarter-final versus Newcastle United later this month. However, they do only sit 12th in the Premier League table, which is so poor after the investment into this talented young squad.

Agbonlahor think he’s seen Fernandez and Caicedo frustrated on the pitch with Chelsea’s forwards.
He told talkSPORT: “Not value for money because the amount they spent on them, but Caicedo and Fernandez are top, top players. But they are too inconsistent. When you watch them they look like they’re getting a bit frustrated. They win the ball back and give it to [Cole]Palmer, Palmer counter-attacks, you’ve got [Nicolas] Jackson and [Mykhailo] Mudryk… They’re so erratic up-front and it must be frustrating for midfielders.”

It would be odd if Chelsea’s players performing at the highest level don’t show emotion, especially when there’s so many poor results. But we hope this new-look group is united and sticks together.
In fairness, we could pin the blame all over the pitch at Chelsea. This includes some poor displays at time in the centre of the park.
Speaking via ‘The Kelly and Wrighty Show’ recently, Ian Wright claimed that teams are walking through the midfield of Fernandez and Caicedo in certain games.
Any Chelsea supporter will tell you that the long-term problem in attack still needs fixing. You’d hope that the midfield would be the strongest part given the investment in the Caicedo-Fernandez pivot.
