Chelsea have certainly not been shy to hit the transfer market this summer in order to give their new manager the best possible chance of success.
Enzo Maresca is less than two weeks away from starting his first season as a Premier League manager, with him working on integrating his style of play out in the United States right now.
He has seen some impressive displays from some of the club’s new players. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has played himself into contention for a start when the Premier League comes around.

Reports have claimed that they are not done yet though, with Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion being discussed as a new addition.
The question was always going to be asked as to just how much say the Italian was going to be given when it came to new signings at Stamford Bridge.
Maresca says he has a say in transfers
However, he told Ben Jacobs that he wouldn’t be able to do this job if he wasn’t given an opinion on who should be coming into the club.
He said: “I don’t think there is any manager in the world not involved in decisions. How can I accept a player that doesn’t fit into the idea I want to play?”
Maresca not convinced by Victor Osimhen
It was reported weeks ago that Maresca was not confident Victor Osimhen would fit into his style of play, and even though rumours of signing him have cropped up again, it seems as if that would only be if a loan deal came up late in the window.
It remains to be seen how Omorodion fits into what the manager is looking to do, although his potential is certainly something which can be exciting.
The fact he offers a different option up front to Nicolas Jackson can’t be a bad thing either, with his physical presence something which can far better suit certain situations.
