Reports have now shared how Chelsea players are currently feeling about manager Mauricio Pochettino right now.
According to TalkSPORT, the players are remaining confident in the Argentine, with them as a collective backing the boss to turn things round.
The pressure cranked up another notch on Pochettino as the Blues made it back-to-back losses in the North-West in games where supporters will have certainly been hoping for more out of their side.
Yesterday saw them defeated 2-0 by Everton, a Premier League side who would be above them had they not been handed a points deduction earlier this season.
The game is likely to be overshadowed in the coming days with the fallout from a number of injuries that his players suffered at Goodison Park.
Reece James was forced in the first half with another hamstring problem, while Marc Cucurella and Robert Sanchez also came off after half-time with their own problems.
Chelsea players backing Pochettino
The injuries only add to an extensive list that has plagued the Blues this season, with them at times having up to 12 or 13 players missing at a time.
Christopher Nkunku, arguably the marquee addition over the summer, is yet to make his competitive debut for the club after picking up an issue in pre-season.
Romeo Lavia, Carney Chukwuemeka and Wesley Fofana have also been injured for near enough all of this season. Lavia is also yet to make his first appearance for the club.
This perhaps all adds up to why Chelsea players are reportedly keen on the manager keeping his place in the dugout, with on paper a nice run of fixtures to come.
Defeat at Stamford Bridge next week though could see supporters really begin to turn on Pochettino, who already has an uphill task turning things around.
