Chelsea face Panathinaikos in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday night in their second of six league phase matches.

The Blues beat Gent 4-2 before the October international break to make a strong start to their return to European competition.

But their next opposition is probably the toughest of the league phase. Panathinaikos finished fourth in the Greek Super League last season and beat Ligue 1 club RC Lens in the Conference League playoff.

Enzo Maresca’s side also have the added pressure of playing at the 70,000-capacity Athens Olympic Stadium which will surely provide an electric atmosphere.

The Chelsea Chronicle tells you everything you need to know about the upcoming match, such as the kick-off time, live stream and team news.

Panathinaikos vs Chelsea Team News

Enzo Maresca seems to have one team for the Premier League and another for the Conference League at the moment.

The Italian could simply pick the same starting lineup as the victory over Gent three weeks ago.

Marc Cucurella and/or Enzo Fernandez could come into the team as neither started in the defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

It should be noted Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Cole Palmer were excluded from Chelsea’s Conference League squad so they will not be involved.
