Chelsea star Cole Palmer received plenty of praise for his individual display in Monday night’s win against Fulham, including from teammates such as Ian Maatsen and Raheem Sterling.
The Blues secured just a second win of the Premier League season last night by beating Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage.
Mykhailo Mudyk and Armando Broja scored quick-fire goals in the first half to clinch three vital points for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Next, Chelsea look to carry this small momentum into this weekend’s league trip to newly-promoted Burnley.

Cole Palmer, 21, made his first league start in Chelsea colours and caught the eye against Fulham.
The £40million attacker (Sky Sports) impressed from the right wing with some great moments both on and off the ball. This included winning back possession for his side and setting up Broja’s goal.
Palmer uploaded a post on Instagram after yesterday’s win applauding the travelling Blues supporters. He received praise in the comment section from the likes of Ian Maatsen and Raheem Sterling.
Maatsen described his teammate as “quality”. Meanwhile, Sterling posted some clapping hands emojis.

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher praised Palmer for his Chelsea performance yesterday against Fulham. It was the type of contribution that deserves a lot of plaudits from all over.
The left-footed playmaker is still a youngster adapting to a new home in a new part of the country, plus he’s slotted into a team that is a bit all over the place right now.
However, there definitely does seem to be a real calmness and maturity whenever Palmer is on the ball. At the age of 21, his football intelligence appears to be huge.
We’re pretty confident that Chelsea’s summer signing will become integral to this XI as the season progresses and he plays more with his teammates.
