‘Incredible’ Chelsea player has been one of the hardest workers in training this season

Chelsea’s summer signing has reportedly made a really positive impact in training sessions this season and is one of the hardest workers.

On the pitch, it’s been a great start for Enzo Maresca as the Chelsea manager because the positive results are rolling in. The Blues go into Sunday’s Premier League match at home to Nottingham Forest on a five-game winning streak across all competitions.

Therefore, we’d guess that everything is clicking in training on a weekday at Cobham, the club’s training centre.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano recently claimed on The Debrief that Chelsea’s players are very happy with Maresca right now. Let’s hope that the head coach can continue his great work with this young group.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall grafting in training

According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been one of the hardest trainers so far this season at Cobham.

It is explained that the 26-year-old midfielder, who joined from Leicester City in the summer, has made a positive impact off the pitch despite struggling for minutes. For example, the Englishman is often arriving early, packing up equipment and forming relationships with non-playing staff.

The report adds that Dewsbury-Hall has made himself one of the most popular players in the squad since his arrival.

The best will soon come

Dewsbury-Hall has played seven games across all competitions this term since his move to Chelsea, but it’s worth noting he’s yet to start in the Premier League. In fact, he’s even missed out on the matchday squad in the league on a couple of occasions.

It was a real boost on Thursday night to see the box-to-box midfielder shine in the Blues’ 4-2 win over Gent in the Conference League group stages, scoring his first goal for the club.

Dewsbury-Hall has the advantage that he worked under Maresca last year at Leicester City, but everyone’s perhaps been guilty of overlooking the fact it’s a big step up in levels.

Speaking via talkSPORT, Conor Gallagher said Dewsbury-Hall was “incredible” last season. It’s just natural if it takes him a bit of time to get up to full speed.
