Chelsea supporters were treated to a Mason Mount training ground special on social media ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester United.
The club’s cameras captured Mount converting an inch-perfect strike off the underside of the bar, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.
Clearly aware of the lens pointed in his direction, the midfielder then turned around and gave the look of a man who has just struck the top bins.
A clip that had Blues fans beaming from ear-to-ear, much like their golden boy.
Here’s how they reacted to the video on Twitter:
Mase not quite on the money
Mount could probably do with hitting a few shots like that on matchday.
Aside from the hattrick against Norwich City last month, the England international hasn’t scored for Chelsea since the start of May.
Certainly a run that needs addressing.
Granted, this season is yet to truly ignite for the 22-year-old.

A few niggling injuries and the operation on his wisdom teeth have taken a bite out of Mount’s form.
Teething problems
According to The Athletic, the dental surgery also took a toll on his wellbeing.
They claim the Cobham academy graduate ‘was unable to eat normally for several days and lost weight‘ after the teeth were removed.
This caused Mount’s energy levels to decrease, a characteristic that is usually a standout skill of his.
He was removed after 62 minutes against Leicester City last weekend and then only played the last quarter of an hour on Tuesday at home to Juventus.

However, The Athletic state that Chelsea insiders suggest he is almost back to 100% fitness.
This is extremely timely, considering the Blues host Manchester United in just over 48 hours’ time.
