Journalist Rahman Osman has claimed that Chelsea may still look to sign another centre-back after the deal for Axel Disasi is complete.
He took to Twitter to state that the Blues had already been scouting Ousmane Diomande before they agreed terms with the Monaco defender.
Last night saw Fabrizio Romano give his trademark ‘here we go’ to the Blues’ attempts to sign Disasi.

The 25-year-old will be looking forward to potentially reforming a partnership at the back with Benoit Badiashile.
The deal could spell the end of Trevoh Chalobah though, who the club are reportedly still keen to sell this summer.
It emerged earlier today that the 24-year-old has decided that he is open to leaving the club after feeling like his opportunities to the first team were going to be limited.
Chelsea interested in Diomande
While this may be because of the likelihood that Disasi gets brought in, Osman has claimed he is not the only defender who has been scouted in recent weeks.
He said: “Chelsea have scouted Sporting CP’s Ivorian centre-back Ousmane Diomande. Interesting to see if they follow up on talks now that terms have been agreed with Axel Disasi.”

Diamonde has reportedly been touted by Arsenal as a potential new defender for them to bring in, to add to their already lavish spending spree.
They have signed Jurrien Timber to add to their strength at the back, and have seemingly been looking at the Sporting Lisbon man too.
With the Blues keen to convince Levi Colwill that he has a clear path to first team football on a regular basis, they will be wary to not sign too many defenders this summer.
