Italian media were not left too impressed by the performance of Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk up against them for Ukraine last night.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Ukraine winger struggled particularly when the game slowed down, however could still see the potential he had.
Mudryk and his side will have been aware that they needed a win to secure automatic qualification last night up against Italy in the final group game.
The game finished 0-0, however was not without controversy after the 22-year-old was wiped out in the final moments in the penalty area.
He was somehow not awarded a penalty, which could have seen things end up very differently.
While the Chelsea man continued to take on the Italian defenders, their national media stated that he did not make an impact in the key European Championship qualifier.

They said: “Mudryk 5.5: Drunk with feints the blue defenders but often himself too. He gives his best if he can go at 100 mph, he gets stuck when he has to think.
“He lacks continuity and fires blanks at Donnarumma’s unsuccessful exit. He has top potential but he doesn’t make an impact tonight either. Of course, that intervention by Cristante in the finale…”
Mudryk will be hoping to be back in the Chelsea side this weekend when they return to Premier League action with the tough challenge of Newcastle United.
After an injury affected what had been a very promising season so far for the youngster, he has been forced to come off the bench in recent weeks.
He will be hoping the fact that he is now amongst the goals this season, his confidence will continue to prosper and he will be a key player for Mauricio Pochettino for the remainder of the season.
