As Spurs continued to defend high, the game looked perfect for the introduction of Mykhailo Mudryk from the bench following his recent injury.
His pace in behind seemed like exactly what they were missing on the pitch last night, however this was not the case as he had a difficult spell on the left wing.

Pochettino was notably fuming with the Ukraine international late in the day as he spooned a cross behind when Chelsea were looking to take the lead.
Luckily for the Blues they finally found a way through, with Nicolas Jackson scoring a hat-trick on what was actually quite a difficult evening for him personally.
Mudryk had been on good form before his recent injury, recently opening his account for club and country and looking far more confident.
However, in circumstances which looked perfect for the 22-year-old last night, he certainly did not impress with what he did on the pitch.
It remains to be seen if this will see him handed a start at the weekend when the Blues line up against Manchester City in their next Premier League game.
