A busy summer transfer window came to an end on Monday for Chelsea, with Enzo Maresca now knowing exactly who he has to work with until at least January at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea fans were underwhelmed with their deadline day business, with no permanent additions joining the club in the final hours.
In truth, the Blues did a large amount of their business early on, with the Club World Cup firmly in mind. Liam Delap opened his account for the club out in the United States.
The Englishman limped off against Fulham and could be set for a prolonged period on the sidelines, putting pressure on the rest of the options at the club to provide in his absence.

Jamie Carragher says Joao Pedro ‘looks the part’ in the Chelsea kit
The key man likely to be tasked with this is Joao Pedro, who has got off to a very strong start to life at Stamford Bridge since his summer switch from Brighton.
Joe Cole praised Pedro for his performance against Fulham. The Blues were struggling before his goal on the stroke of half-time.
Jamie Carragher has not been afraid to criticise Chelsea in recent years, however he has been positive regarding the business to sign the Brazilian this summer.
When asked if he think’s he’ll be a success, Carragher said: “I think he’ll be a hit so far. I think he’s done alright so far. He looks the part in the kit, doesn’t he?”

Carragher not a fan of every Chelsea addition
Outside of Pedro, there are a lot of players signed by Chelsea who will need to convince the fanbase that the club have spent their money wisely over the summer.
At the top of that list would be Alejandro Garnacho, who was spotted in attendance for the game against Fulham before officially making the move from Manchester United.
Carragher was not so positive about the Argentine, saying: “I’m not a fan of Garnacho. Miss. You know what I didn’t like? The game yesterday [vs Fulham], when they go to them in the stands and they’re on the phone when the game’s going on. It’s not just him by the way, there’s lots of them, I can’t stand it.”
One person who is excited about the addition though is their other new attacker. Pedro praised Garnacho after he was unveiled by the Blues over the weekend
