Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara is confident that Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson can still be a success in the Premier League.
Chelsea have replaced Jackson after signing Joao Pedro and Liam Delap and are now trying to offload him.
Jackson has been heavily linked with Aston Villa, but it is a club lower down the Premier League table O’Hara has named as a good destination for the 24-year-old.
Napoli are close to Jackson’s people, so a move to Italy before the transfer window closes also looks possible.

Jamie O’Hara can see Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson scoring goals at Everton
Everton are nowhere near as good as Villa at the moment, finishing 18 points behind them in the Premier League table last season. Even so, O’Hara still thinks Jackson would do extremely well there.
Speaking about the Senegal International on Sky Sports, he said: “I’ve watched Nicolas Jackson in a lot of games last season and gone, ‘He’s all right. He is decent’.
“I mean, who’s to say that he can’t go and play for a decent football club? I tell you, put him in at Everton… if he played for Everton, he’d bang in goals week in, week out.”
Everton currently have Beto, Thierno Barry and Youssef Chermiti in their squad, but they look like they could do with another centre-forward after their 1-0 loss to Leeds United on Monday.
Jackson would cost too much money, though, and it is hard to imagine him being open to taking such a huge step down. Unlike Chelsea and Villa, Everton are not in Europe.
At one stage, it was being reported that Chelsea valued Jackson at £80m. That may still be the case, but with it being highly unlikely that anyone pays that much for him, the Blues will have to reduce his price tag.

The Premier League clubs who are interested in Nicolas Jackson
As well as Villa, Jackson has also been linked with Newcastle United, who are in desperate need of a new striker.
Alexander Isak has no intention of playing for the club again, while they have also lost Callum Wilson.
Nottingham Forest have allegedly made an approach for Jackson, so they are another club who appear to be interested in the former Villarreal man. He has options, though nothing has materialised yet.
