Jason Cundy has admitted that one Chelsea transfer saga that is unfolding this summer is upsetting him.
Even though the Blues have been busy focusing on the Club World Cup, where they face Fluminense in the semi-finals on Tuesday night, it’s been a busy time in the transfer market.
Chelsea’s squad has been strengthened by the arrival of players such as Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens. Incidentally, Gittens said he’s a perfect fit for Enzo Maresca’s system after promising discussions with the head coach before he signed.
However, Chelsea recognise they need to offload players because there are a lot of players on the books right now.

Noni Madueke linked with Chelsea exit
Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, 23, is tipped with a move away from Stamford Bridge in this current summer window.
Reports claim that Arsenal are in very positive talks to sign Madueke, and a deal may be done by the end of the week. In fact, the England international has already agreed to terms for a five-year deal at the Emirates Stadium.
Now that Chelsea are willing to let Madueke leave this summer, it should be viewed as a positive step for the player if he manages to land a move to Arsenal.
| Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Chelsea | 91 | 20 | 9 |
| PSV Eindhoven | 80 | 20 | 13 |
Madueke has been an important winger for Chelsea across the last two seasons, but they could have a new crop of wide options next term with the additions of both Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian.

Jason Cundy gutted with Noni Madueke speculation
According to Jason Cundy, many Chelsea fans won’t mind hearing that Madueke could be sold to Arsenal. He would be “disappointed” to see the England international leave, though.
Cundy told talkSPORT: “I’m a fan of Madueke. He gets a lot of stick from Chelsea fans. I know a lot of Arsenal fans aren’t particularly impressed with what they are signing. Here is what I will say. He’s a versatile player, and at the end of last season, Madueke was in Chelsea’s best XI. What he did was he moved from the right to the left, and he was as effective on the left…
“I like Madueke. I’ll be disappointed to see him leave because of his versatility from the right to the left… With Madueke, I’m disappointed to see him go. I know a lot of Chelsea fans won’t agree with me, but I like him.”
While Madueke is still far from the finished article, he does still pop up with some fantastic individual moments. If the new Chelsea signings don’t hit the ground running, it could make his potential sale look a bit foolish.
