It is fair to say that Joe Cole is a fan of Chelsea’s attack, which was on fire in the Blues’ 3-0 win against West Ham United on Saturday.
Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer both got their names on the scoresheet, with the former grabbing a brace for Chelsea.
By doing so, Jackson set a new Chelsea record in London derbies. It was easily one of his best performances in a blue shirt.
Jadon Sancho also played a role in the win, assisting Palmer’s goal, and Joe Cole spoke about the winger and the rest of Chelsea’s attack before the game.

What has Joe Cole said about Chelsea’s attack?
Sancho, Palmer and Noni Madueke were the three attackers who started behind Jackson for Chelsea in their triumph over the Hammers.
Prior to the match kicking off, Cole claimed that such a frontline could cut through any defence in the game right now.
Initially discussing Sancho on TNT Sports, the Chelsea legend said: “He’ll love playing with Cole Palmer and Madueke. Those three together, they can open up any defence in world football.”
Sancho is impressing Paul Pogba and many others following his move to Chelsea on deadline day. He now has two assists to his name after playing just two games for his new club.
How good is Chelsea’s attack?
Chelsea’s forward players were sharp against West Ham and extremely effective in the 6-2 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers last month.
Since victory at Molineux, Chelsea have added Sancho to their squad, so there are so many dangerous combinations Enzo Maresca can put out.
Despite all of the above, though, it seems a bit too early to claim that this Chelsea attack can open up any defence in world football.
Manchester City are the only top European club the Blues have played so far, and they failed to score against them.
Maresca was without Sancho at the time, but there is still much for Chelsea’s attack and the rest of the team to prove.
