Jadon Sancho seems to be impressing former teammate Paul Pogba with his performances for Chelsea.

Chelsea signed Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on deadline day, and the winger has made an instant impact.

He helped the Blues to beat West Ham United 3-0 on Saturday after setting up the first goal. It comes after his assist against Bournemouth last weekend.

Like Pogba, Chelsea fans were also impressed with Sancho following his display at the London Stadium.

After Chelsea’s win against West Ham, Sancho took to Instagram to celebrate the victory, sharing a post with the caption: “Solid performance from the boys, have a great weekend Blues.”

Several other footballers replied to the winger’s post, including Pogba. The Frenchman did not have anything lengthy to say, though.

He simply wrote “him”, implying that Sancho is a bit of a boss. Based on his two appearances for Chelsea so far, it is a pretty fair assessment.

Before the 24-year-old’s transfer in the summer, Rio Ferdinand tipped Sancho to succeed at Chelsea. It is early days, but he is on the right track.

According to Sofascore, Sancho made two key passes in his side’s win against West Ham.

The game before, he also registered two. It is impressive, considering that the England international did not complete 90 minutes in either match.

The most Chelsea will end up paying for Sancho is £25m. From what he has shown so far, that could end up being an absolute bargain for the club.

Enzo Maresca‘s men take on Barrow next in the Carabao Cup. It could see Sancho rested ahead of next Saturday’s Premier League tie against Brighton & Hove Albion, giving Mykhailo Mudryk an opportunity to come into the side.

Mudryk is not eyeing a Chelsea exit right now, but Sancho’s arrival looks like it is going to impact the amount of game time he gets this season. Therefore, that stance could change by the time January arrives.
