Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel has not been afraid to be vocal about his thoughts on his former side and their fortunes.
The midfielder was prominent in his backing for the signing of Victor Osimhen over the summer transfer window.
The Blues pushed hard on deadline day for this deal to be done, however instead looked to give their backing this season to Nicolas Jackson.

John Obi Mikel wants Chelsea to sign a new striker
Mikel has been critical of Jackson in the past but actually been made to eat his words this season after the Senegal international’s excellent start to the campaign.
While a deal for Osimhen is still reportedly on the table for either January or next summer, there are a number of other strikers the Blues could make a move for when the window opens again.
Mikel has said that he believes the club still need to add another number nine to their ranks, even if it just for competition for Jackson who has started every Premier League game this season.
He said on the Obi One Podcast: “Nicolas Anelka, Fernando Torres all came in to keep Didier Drogba on his toes, he knew that. That’s what made him the player he was and that’s what I think Nicolas Jackson needs. We need another top striker to keep the competition healthy.”
Christopher Nkunku competing with Nicolas Jackson
Chelsea will claim that they already have some very tough competition in place for Jackson at Stamford Bridge, with Christopher Nkunku struggling to even break into the Premier League side.
The Frenchman seems to find the net in every game he plays for the Blues in Europe at the minute, and will no doubt be looking to continue that trend tonight.
Chelsea are hosting Noah in the Conference League at Stamford Bridge tonight, where a number of changes are likely to be made.
Youngster Tyrique George is being tipped to start for the Blues, in what would be his first competitive one for the club.
