Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall hasn’t featured as much as he would have liked under Enzo Maresca this season, despite following the boss to Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca has shown that he won’t take any prisoners in his first season at Chelsea, with one of his stars at Leicester City, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, struggling to even get much of a game.

The likes of Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo have been the preferred pairing in the middle of midfield, and Romeo Lavia recently returned from injury too.

Dewsbury-Hall is a player who Pat Nevin wants to see more opportunities presented to, having seen how impressive he was at the King Power Stadium lasts season.

With Liverpool up next in the Premier League, it’s unlikely that Maresca will look to change things, so he may have to wait for a start in the top-flight.

Interestingly, the midfielder has been speaking to the Premier League and was asked who he thinks will break the internet at Chelsea this season.
