Despite a host of new attackers joining Chelsea already this summer, reports are claiming that they may not be done yet ahead of a new Premier League season.
The Club World Cup gave Liam Delap and Joao Pedro their chance to make an impact on their new side, with the latter scoring three goals in just two starts for the Blues.
Unable to compete in the competition, both Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian are waiting in the wings for the first team to return to training before they can show what they can do to Enzo Maresca.
The departure of Noni Madueke as well as the potential exit of Nicolas Jackson could open an opportunity for another player to be brought in by the club.

Xavi Simons desperate to join Chelsea this summer
Recent reports have linked the Blues with the addition of Xavi Simons, after he enjoyed a very positive season with RB Leipzig.
The Dutchman contributed 17 combined goals and assists in just 25 Bundesliga games, and Chelsea fans believe Simons will be perfect for Maresca.
Simon Phillips has claimed that the player is very keen on a potential move to Stamford Bridge, however the Blues are matched in their interest by Arsenal.
He said on his Substack: “Arsenal are interested in Simons as said, but our sources have heard they are focusing on Eze still but if they cannot get that over the line then Simons is the backup for them.
“Sources feel Chelsea could have come in and snapped Simons up by the time that happens anyway. So this one is certainly brewing up and all connected.
“Further to this, our sources have heard that Simons ‘would love to join Chelsea’ this window, so there would be no problem on the player side. Chelsea, expected to make more enquiries on Simons this week now.”

Chelsea sounded out to sign Simons this summer
It has been reported that agents have reached out to Chelsea over signing Simons this summer, with everyone knowing the financial power the Blues have following their Club World Cup triumph.
It has been reported elsewhere that the attacker is expected to cost around £56m, a fee which is very achievable for Todd Boehly and co to reach.
The Blues do have a number of other attacking targets on their radar as the new season draws closer, with Morgan Rogers being mentioned as somewhat of a dream addition.
The opportunity to do this deal could open up if Unai Emery wishes to work with Jackson again. The Spaniard is a big fan of the striker following their time together at Villarreal.
