Chelsea are currently involved in a transfer saga which looks as if it is destined to head to the very end of the transfer window.
The Blues are reportedly interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United, with them sensing an opportunity that the club may be forced to make a homegrown sale to raise funds.
Ruben Amorim wants to keep Garnacho, and this has been shown by the gametime he has handed him throughout the time where he has been linked with a move away.

It has previously been claimed that United were actually interested in a Chelsea player of their own this month, something which could materialise into a swap deal involving Christopher Nkunku.
Manchester United want Josh Acheampong in swap for Alejandro Garnacho
Despite the Frenchman’s desire to move away this month, it looks as if he will be staying put.
He is not the only player the Red Devils are keen on though. According to The Independent, they have brought up the prospect of signing Josh Acheampong in the Garnacho talks.
Acheampong has this season been named a first team player at Stamford Bridge, and has started two Premier League games in a row since the turn of the year.
Paul Merson even described Acheampong as ‘amazing’ following his first league start for the club against Crystal Palace.
The academy graduate has only recently signed a new long-term deal with the Blues, committing his future to the project in West London.

Enzo Maresca a big fan of Josh Acheampong
Therefore, it is very unlikely Chelsea would be willing to even consider including Acheampong in discussions to sign Garnacho.
Enzo Maresca reportedly played a key role in convincing the young defender to stay at the club after talk of an exit earlier this season.
Acheampong was essentially frozen out for a time period, missing the opportunity to feature in some more Conference League games.
The unreliability of the fitness of both Reece James and Malo Gusto makes the young Englishman very important already, as at any moment he could be thrown in for a string of first team games at a crucial point.
