There’s a number of Chelsea supporters that are trying to apply the pressure on Enzo Maresca when it comes to his team selection this weekend at West Ham.

Blues head coach Enzo Maresca has found a consistency with his team in the opening weeks of the season. In fact, there’s seven players that have started all four league games to date.

Chelsea fans beg for Christopher Nkunku start
A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media have urged the head coach to recall Christopher Nkunku into the starting line-up for Saturday’s trip to West Ham.
The £52m attacker (Sky Sports) has started just one of Chelsea’s opening four Premier League matches this season. However, he made a real statement by coming off the bench and scoring the winning goal in last weekend’s 1-0 win at Bournemouth.
Here are many Blues fans on X demanding that Maresca starts Nkunku versus West Ham:
One fan said: “Nkunku most definitely has to start against West Ham.”
Another wrote: “I speak for everyone when I say Christopher Nkunku should start against West Ham ahead of [Nicolas] Jackson.”
A third user posted: “Surely Nkunku starts as the number 9 this Saturday against West Ham?”
One supporter claimed: “Nkunku should be our No.9, Jackson is still very raw. Nkunku can drop deep and link up the play with other wingers as well.
Another shared: “I’d really love to see Nkunku and [Jadon] Sancho start on Saturday. Let’s see what Enzo Maresca cooks up for us.”
Christopher Nkunku adds clinical touch
The current headache for Chelsea is getting Nkunku into their starting line-up, but there’s no doubt that he’s a serious goal threat when he’s on the pitch.
He’s got the versatility to play as a No.9, No. 10 or winger for the Blues. We think his best route into the XI may be fighting it out with Nicolas Jackson for the central striker position, though.
Nkunku is scoring every 4.5 shots he takes in the Premier League, so he’s the type of individual that Chelsea need to try find room for.
