The finalists for Euro 2024 have been decided, and Chelsea are guaranteed to have a winner of the competition in their side next season.

Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher booked their place in the final with the dramatic victory over the Netherlands. The former came off the bench to set up the winning goal.

They will be taking on Spain, who have been the benefactors of some brilliant performances from Marc Cucurella.

The left-back proved his worth in the final few weeks of last season for his club, and has since become undroppable for his nation in big games.

With there now being a realistic chance that Cucurella becomes a European Champion, his agent, Aleix Pique, has shared how he may celebrate the achievement.

Cucurella may dye his hair red

He told Cadena SER: “The thing about shaving his head is non-negotiable. In fact, when he went into a dressing room, some of his teammates joked about cutting his hair.

What he might do is dye his hair red if we end up winning the Euro 2019, but it remains to be seen whether he will do it or not.”

It remains to be seen how Chelsea fans would react to seeing one of their first team players playing in the blue kit whilst sporting bright red hair.

Cucurella vs Ben Chilwell to start for Chelsea

They will likely be hoping he starts the first game of the season against Manchester City though. That decision has almost certainly been playing on new manager Enzo Maresca’s mind already.

Ben Chilwell has already returned to pre-season training at Cobham, and a video clip saw him receiving plenty of praise from the Italian already.

However, it is difficult to argue with the fact that Cucurella has been one of the top performing Chelsea players in the last four or five months, and no doubt deserves an opportunity to continue that run in the Premier League next season.
