Chelsea ace Mason Mount said he joked with Willian about being number one free-kick taker at Chelsea during the 2-0 win over Wolves.
The 21-year-old was the star of the game as he scored the opening goal with a well-executed free-kick, as well as finding the pass for Olivier Giroud’s goal.
Mount admitted that before his goal, the game could’ve gone for either side as Wolves were also close to taking the lead.

He told Chelsea’s official website: “We know how good Wolves are, they have a lot of threats.
“The first goal was key. Until the free-kick it was even, not many chances, maybe a bit of nerves on our side because of how much the game meant to us.
“The free-kick released the pressure a bit, and I was very happy to score.
“I’ve been waiting the whole season to put a free-kick in! It’s about time one went in.”
Mount said he always had that competition with Willian about taking free-kicks and the two had a little conversation during half-time.

“He was up in the stands so when I walked out in the second half me and him had a little look at each other,” he said.
“And I said, ‘I’m number one now, I’m taking the next one’. But he’s obviously brilliant at free-kicks, Marcos as well.”
