Mauricio Pochettino has now addressed Chelsea fans on social media following his first official day at the club.
He took to his personal Instagram account to thank the supporters for everything they have done since he was brought in as the new manager.
Yesterday saw Pochettino arrive at Cobham for the first time since being announced next season’s manager.
He was notably impressed by the quality of the training ground, where he will be spending a lot of his time in the next few weeks.
After completing his media duties and getting familiar with his new surroundings, the Argentine took to Instagram to send a message to his new supporters.
He said: “A great first day at Cobham. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages in this last month. It is great to be back in the Premier League and with Chelsea, a giant of English and European football.

“We are rested and ready to go, full of energy and desire and that is exactly what we want from all the players and staff too.
“I personally cannot wait for the season to begin, to get to work with everyone and to experience Stamford Bridge and your support for the first time as your head coach.
“We know the expectation around this club and we will do everything we can to give you a Chelsea team that you can believe in and be proud to support in every game.”
Players are now set to join up in the coming days, and Pochettino will be keen to get a look at who he has available going into next season.
With them needing to pick up the places from a 12th placed finish last season, it will be important to impress in order to still be there next season.
