Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson continues to be linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Chelsea Chronicle understands that intermediaries are trying to gauge interest in Jackson ahead of a potential exit.

The Blues are not thought to be pushing the 24-year-old out of the club, though, so there is a possibility that he remains in west London.

If Jackson does, the Senegal international is allegedly convinced that one thing will happen next season.

Nicolas Jackson confident he can rediscover best form at Chelsea

Jackson started the 2024/25 season very strongly. In his first five Premier League games, he scored four goals.

However, in the second half of the campaign, his form really tailed off. Jackson was even sent off in Chelsea‘s 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United in May before receiving another red card at the Club World Cup.

Simply put, his performances have been a concern for a while now. According to journalist Rahman Osman, though, Jackson believes he will rediscover his best form at Chelsea next season if he remains there.

Jackson remaining at Chelsea could hinge on what guarantees Enzo Maresca is willing to give him.

With Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both at the club now, the former Villarreal man is no longer an automatic starter.

Aston Villa could be a potential destination for Jackson this summer, and if he moves there, then Chelsea could make a bid for Morgan Rogers.

Pat Nevin weighs in on Nicolas Jackson and Joao Pedro debate

Following Pedro’s arrival and instant impact, there has been a lot of talk about who is going to lead Chelsea’s line next season.

You also have to throw Delap into the mix, but out of Pedro and Jackson, former Blue Pat Nevin thinks the Brazilian is the better striker.

When Nevin discussed Pedro and Jackson last week, he said: “Joao Pedro is an upgrade, I don’t think there is much doubt about that. If you look at the percentages of the chances that he’ll get at Chelsea compared with Brighton he’s going to score a lot of goals.”

If Pedro’s performances at the Club World Cup and Jackson’s recent form are anything to go by, then the above does look to be the case.
