Journalist Raphael Honigstein has claimed that one top manager in the game would not be prepared to take over at Chelsea with their current ownership.
He told The Athletic that Thomas Tuchel would not be want to return to the club at the end of the season despite being out of a job in Germany.
It has been widely reported that Tuchel will be leaving his role as Bayern Munich manager at the end of the season off the back of what will go down as an unsuccessful campaign.

It looks as if his side are going to fall short in their race for the Bundesliga title, with Xabi Alonso working miracles over at Bayer Leverkusen.
The defending champions will also need a comeback in the Champions League to overcome Lazio in the last 16, in a competition where the German has previously found success in charge of Chelsea.
The Blues are reportedly doing their due diligence over a number of potential managerial candidates to take over from Mauricio Pochettino if they decide to sack him in the coming weeks and months.
Tuchel would not join Chelsea
While many Chelsea fans would love to see Tuchel make a return to Stamford Bridge, Honigstein has claimed that there is currently no chance of that happening.
He said: “While I don’t see any chance of Chelsea bringing Tuchel back, he wouldn’t be prepared to work under the existing ownership after their problems and the level of interference they tried to exert on him. So for me, it’s a non-starter.”
Tuchel reportedly did not see eye to eye with owner Todd Boehly after the American took over from the club, and this is probably why he didn’t last long at the club following the ownership change.
With those on the board reportedly at a disagreement over what they should do with Pochettino, the situation is perhaps more messy than many even would imagine.
